Milestone

1998
Founding of KSAC
KSAC Hospitals began its journey in 1998 as Kerala Sanjeevani Ayurvedic Centre—a modest clinic in the heart of Punjagutta, Hyderabad. Founded by Dr. Saji D’Souza, the centre was born from a deep commitment to offer ethical, authentic, and effective Ayurvedic care at a time when trust in traditional systems was still growing. With a focus on treating patients—not just symptoms—and earning goodwill through results, the clinic quickly earned a loyal following. This quiet beginning laid the foundation for what would later become one of India’s most respected names in evidence-based, multispecialty Ayurveda.

2008
The Incorporation
A decade after its founding, KSAC took a significant leap forward in 2008 by becoming a formally incorporated company. This transition marked the evolution from a well-loved Ayurvedic clinic into a structured healthcare institution with a vision to scale. Incorporation allowed KSAC to bring greater professionalism, operational clarity, and long-term planning to its mission. While the roots remained deeply personal and patient-focused, this step laid the groundwork for expanding services, building a larger team, and setting the stage for future innovation - without ever losing sight of the values it was built on.

2011
State Government Empanelment
In 2011, KSAC Hospitals reached a pivotal milestone by being empanelled under the Government of Andhra Pradesh, marking its official entry into the public healthcare framework. This recognition enabled KSAC to offer its Ayurvedic services to patients under state-sponsored health schemes, making quality treatment more accessible to a wider population. Following the bifurcation of the state, KSAC was subsequently empanelled by the Government of Telangana, continuing its service as a trusted provider within the state's AYUSH network. This recognition not only affirmed KSAC’s clinical credibility but also expanded its reach - allowing it to bridge traditional healing with institutional healthcare support.

2018
Transition to a Multi-Specialty Ayurvedic Hospital
By 2018, KSAC had evolved far beyond its roots as a standalone clinic. With years of clinical experience, patient trust, and growing demand, the institution made a significant leap - formally transitioning into a multi-specialty Ayurvedic hospital. This transformation introduced specialised departments focused on distinct areas of health such as orthopaedics, neurology, gynaecology, dermatology, geriatrics and so on, breaking away from the traditional one-doctor-treats-all model. With expert physicians leading each department, KSAC redefined what modern Ayurvedic care could look like: structured, specialised, and deeply patient-centric. This shift laid the foundation for scalable, systems-driven healing - while preserving the authenticity of classical Ayurveda.

2019
NABH Accreditation
In 2019, KSAC Hospitals achieved a significant benchmark in quality and safety by receiving its first NABH accreditation under the AYUSH category. This recognition from the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers validated KSAC’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care, clinical protocols, and operational integrity. The accreditation served as a formal acknowledgment of what KSAC had already built - an Ayurvedic hospital that delivered traditional healing with the discipline and transparency expected of modern medical institutions. It further reinforced the hospital’s promise of safe, ethical, and outcome-oriented care.

2025
First Institutional Funding
In 2025, KSAC Hospitals marked a major turning point by securing its first round of institutional funding - a significant step in its journey from a family-run enterprise to a professionally scaled healthcare organization. This milestone brought with it not just capital, but renewed confidence in KSAC’s vision of delivering evidence-based, ethical Ayurvedic care at scale. Under the joint leadership of Founder Dr. Saji D’Souza and CEO Rajat Sharma, the funding has set the stage for future growth, digital integration, and expanded reach. While the scale evolved, the soul remained unchanged - grounded in trust, tradition, and measurable healing.
